Amazu Media is a young Danish game development company focusing on interactive entertainment that conveys positive meaning. With an international team with background in comics, animation and game development, our games are often story driven and have a peculiar visual approach. With 2 projects for mobile devices and PC in the works, we are looking into new partnerships to continue delivering meaningful experiences.
Founded in 2010 by Igor Noronha, Amazu.tv became Amazu Media in 2013. Coming from a digital comics background, Igor decided to create Amazu after finishing his work for DC Comics’ digital imprint, with the vision of developing new properties independently.
In 2011, Igor was joined by Peter Meldgaard, graduated from The Animation Workshop as a CG Artist, and the two started developing Igor’s first independent comic, Light Apprentice, into a game for mobile platforms.
In 2012 Alina Constantin, (designer and animation filmmaker awarded in Annecy 2009) also joined the company. Development of her property Shrug Worlds into a series of games began at Amazu, alongside the ongoing production of Light Apprentice. ¨
The crew kept growing with skillful additions to the technical team and today, Amazu Media is close to releasing its first two products to the market, Light Apprentice and Shrug Tides.
